Position Overview:

The Equiti Foods Driver plays a critical role in the coordination and execution of healthy meal box delivery to retail stores, office buildings, universities, and homes across the state. This person works directly with Equiti Foods’ Operations Manager to organize deliveries of Good Bowls across NC. The Equiti Foods Driver ensures that customers receive a timely, high-quality delivery service, acting as a direct and personable link between the company and customers. 

This position will start part-time (20 hours/week) and may increase to full-time (40 hours/week) as sales volume increases. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a trusted and thoughtful delivery contact for all customers

  • Retrieve meal boxes from storage freezers in Hillsborough and Raleigh, NC with occasional trips to other storage locations

  • Safely and efficiently pack meal boxes into company delivery van

  • Maintain consistent temperature and mileage logs throughout service delivery

  • Navigate using GPS and logistics software to complete deliveries across NC 

  • Adhere to route plans and delivery times while maintaining communication with team

  • Stock meals at retail delivery locations, worksite vending machines, and other delivery locations

  • Handle packages with care and attention to detail 

  • Take company van to routine maintenance appointments on behalf of the company 

  • Attend weekly virtual meetings with Operations Manager 

  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds

  • Other duties may include: running logistics-related errands, maintaining and performing basic repair tasks with vending machines, and various miscellaneous tasks

    Minimum Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent

  • Valid NC Drivers license 

  • Compliance with drug-free workplace policy 

  • Safe and observant driver 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

  • Able to think critically and easily adapt to change with strong customer service 

Preferred Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

  • Knowledge and/or interest in food and logistics 


Work Location & Hours :

Your daily activities will be centered around the Research Triangle area, Warren County, Granville County, Randolph County, and others. You will use a company van for all deliveries and travel. 

All deliveries and related work will take place Monday through Friday roughly between 8:00am-5:00pm. This position will start part-time (20 hours/week across 2-3 days/week) and may increase to full-time (40 hours/week) as sales volume increases.
