Information About Frozen Food
Good Bowls are sealed and frozen at the time of cooking, ensuring they stay fresh and delicious for an extended period of time - helping us on our mission to reduce food waste.
The USDA and FDA food safety guidelines note that food stored at 0° F is safe to eat indefinitely. Freezing preserves food for extended periods because it prevents the growth of microorganisms that cause both food spoilage and foodborne illness.
All Good Bowls are chilled, sealed, and frozen at the time of cooking, allowing them to be as fresh as possible when they are eaten. The bowls are stored at -10° F and we’ve tested bowls that have been frozen for 2 years with no noticeable loss in taste or color.
